Eligibility: |
The applicant must: 1) be a FL resident 2) be blind - OR - totally and permanently disabled |
Documentation: |
1) Physician's or Optometrist's Certification of Total and Permanent Disability (DR-416 or DR-416B) - OR - 2) Proof of Total and Permanent disability from the US Department of Veterans Affairs - OR - 3) Proof of Total and Permanent disability from the Social Security Administration (must state total and permanent) |
How to Renew: |
If approved, this exemption will renew automatically every year as long as the use of the property and/or the ownership status does not change. |
