The Thank You page confirms the following:
1) The user has successfully completed the online exemption filing process for each owner applying.
2) The application associated with the online filing profile for the property is closed and can no longer be accessed.
3) The application has been submitted to the Polk County Property Appraiser Exemptions Department.
4) The submitted application is in a ‘PENDING STATUS’ with the Polk County Property Appraiser's office.
This page also has a link to the Exemption Filing Receipt. The filing receipt lists the exemptions applied for and provides a list of supporting documents that were not uploaded during the exemption filing process.
Applications that do not have all required documentation submitted to the Property Appraiser's office by May 1st will not be approved. Please mail the necessary documents along with a copy of the Exemption Filing Receipt to the Property Appraiser's office.
NOTE: The user will be notified when the application is processed and either approved or denied. An Exemptions Specialist will contact you if we have questions or need additional information.
